ConstructOye Private Limited ('ConstructOye') lets you request deletion of your ConstructOye account and the personal data associated with it. This page explains how to make that request, what we delete, and what — if anything — we may retain. You can request deletion using the details below without needing to open the app.
How to request account deletion
You can request deletion of your ConstructOye account in either of the following ways:
- Email us at contact@constructoye.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
- Call us at +91-8968992511 during business hours (Monday to Saturday).
So that we can verify that the request is genuinely yours, please include the mobile number registered with your ConstructOye account (and your email address, if you added one). We will acknowledge your request, verify your identity, and confirm once your account has been deleted.
What data is deleted
Once your request is verified and processed, we delete the personal information linked to your personal ConstructOye account, including:
- Your profile details — name, mobile number, and email address.
- Your login and authentication identifiers.
- Your attendance records, including any check-in and check-out selfies and location (GPS) data captured through the app.
- Your personal preferences, notification settings, and the messages you sent, except where these must be retained as described below.
What we may retain
Some information may be kept after your account is deleted, either because we are legally required to retain it or because it forms part of a business record owned by the organization you worked with:
- Records we must keep to meet legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations (for example, invoices and payment records) — retained only for the period required by applicable law, and then deleted.
- Project data, documents, and communications that belong to the organization (construction firm) that created or manages the project. This content is owned by that organization; where it identifies you, it may be retained or anonymized at that organization's discretion.
- Aggregated or anonymized data that can no longer be used to identify you.
Accounts managed by an organization
If your account was created and is managed by an organization (for example your employer or a construction firm), that organization may also control certain data about you. You can ask that organization's administrator to remove you from their workspace, or contact us using the details below and we will coordinate the deletion of your personal data.
Data retention period
We delete or anonymize the personal data associated with your account within 30 days of verifying your request, except where a longer retention period is required by applicable law. In that case, we retain the data only for as long as legally necessary and then delete it.
